Frequently asked questions

  • Why isn't my charger working?

There are 3 most common reasons for the charger to be insufficient. Specific details in the following sections.

  • The distance between your Qi-device is further than the compable range of wireless charger

When your phone is out of the charging range, for example, Kpon long-range wireless charger can charge through desk up to 30mm(1.18’), if the material between wireless charger and your phone is thicker than that, it wouldn't work.

  • Your phone case contains matel or magnet

Metals, centrally located magnets, card holders, pop sockets and kickstands will interfere the normal charging process, Kpon uses low frequency magnetic resonnance technology to charge, and the things listed above are sort of the kryptonites of resonnace wireless charging.

  • The electronic device you charge with isn't Qi-certified

    Our wireless charger works with All Qi Standard Phones, Samsung Galaxy S20 / S10 / S9+ / S9 / S8 / S8+ / S7 edge / S7 / S6 edge+ Samsung Note 10 / Note 9 / Note 8 / Note 7, IPhone 13 / iPhone 12 / 12 Pro / 12 Pro max / SE (2020) / 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max / XS Max / XR / XS / X / 8 / 8 Plus

Testing Methods

  • With long-range wireless charger, you can't use it if you put your phone directly on the charger.

Long Range wireless charger is specifically designed for people who wishes to save some space on their table and enjoy a clutter-free charging experience, the charger contains two major parts: a wireless charger(the transmitter which mounted under the desk) and a charging power sticker(the transmitter which used on the desk), the distance between them has to be more than 0.25" and less than 1.18" for the device to be charged properly.

  • How should I run a test with my charger?

You can test the long-range wireless charger by simply put a book between the transmitter and sticker, and place your phone on it to see if it's charged by the wireless charger.

  • What are the lights for?

The indicator lights are there to imform about the working status of the device, when it's green light, that means the charger is fairly plugged in, when it's flashing red, that means the foreign object indicator is on, and you probably need to take off the phone case that contains metal and other thingys. When it's just red light, that means the charger is functioning properly. Yuppie!

  • Do I have to use QC3.0 adapter with it?

QC3.0 and above seires are neccessary for our long-range wireless charger. If you use a normal adapter that comes with Iphone package or Sumsung package, it wouldn't work.
